Dear Baduk-Rookies, Igo-Scientists and Weiqi-Warlocks,
We have amazing news for y'all, and especially for you Dans 😉 :
Eunkyo Do 1P and the Open Study Room will kick off the series of joint streams for the first quarter of 2023 with a teaching game of Eunkyo Do 1P vs an OSR Dan.
The event will be live streamed on twitch Saturday 28 January 2023, at 14:00 GMT+1 by Eunkyo Do herself.
The lucky Dan will be drawn by random, on Wednesday 25 January 2023 from the Dans who played at least two OSR League games since November the 1st.
In order to encourage and reward activity, the draw will be weighted by number of games played: the more OSR League games you have played the higher your chances.
Even if you start now, you can very much be the lucky one! You just have to come spam #game-request in our discord server! 😉
The OSR community is grateful to our beloved Dans who actively play in the OSR Leagues for the teaching they provide: We are happy to give back to them - the OSR team does it's best to set up teaching events dedicated to strong players.
If you haven't checked it out yet: Eunkyo Do 1P has her own YouTube channel, with content for players of all levels, from Baduk-Rookies to confirmed Weiqi-Wizards! 💯 worth spending time with her videos, to learn the latest in joseki development, pin down invasion techniques, or to dabble in the wild world of trick moves (and their refutations)! She even answers on video some questions asked in our Discord!
This event will be Eunkyo Do's very first live stream. Let's come in horde to thank her for teaching us and to encourage her to keep it going!
