Big pig snout shape question ¶

Here is a fragment of a game I played recently. After move 8, black needs to defend or will have the dead "big pig snout" shape.
My question is how to continue for Black after move 8.
A and B seem like the obvious choices. Actually, now I'm considering move C as well as an agressive option to try to grab sente.
