Hi all

Hi all

Hello all,

Go player from Belgium, land of the beer and not much else. I'm in my thirties, learned go at uni, but only played for a couple of years - hence without progressing a lot since then (I'm around 4k OGS). I've tried, but so far I've given up as many times as I tried. Or one time less because I didn't give up yet this time.

I'm very intuitive; I've never been a good study. The beauty of go shapes just appeals to me but I think I'm lacking in cleanliness/precision. I think my biggest flaws are (1) not counting/not having a very good timing for invading or reducing (2) messy experimental fighting style which more often than not leads to awful results.

Apart from go, I'm a former physicist, data scientist, and music nerd. Overall pretty nerdy.

Hello fellow science nerd! I hope your games have been going well over the last few months.

The best way to study go is to pick a topic and explore it. I found go fundamental books most helpful. Best of luck in your studies!
