Please welcome me

Please welcome me

'sup everyone!

I'm SolarBear (for real, I've got ID to prove it), at 36-year old software-developer-turned-analyst. I've started playing go about 8 years ago and, before I (mostly) stopped playing, I got to 3k KGS but then, well, life happened and I stopped playing online, playing every once in a while with some friends of mine.

I joined this community after climu asked for help on reddit to work on the OSR code since I was looking for an excuse to learn some Python. Hey, if it's go-related, that's all the better! I'm working to add some pretty cool real-time features to the site. You'll see! ;)

Thank you, thank you all!

climu is right, I'm working on some under-the-hood voodoo magic. Stay tuned.

@Foose: don't get your hopes up too fast! I used to be 3-4k. Last game I played, I lost miserable to a 7k player. Rusty much? :)
