First meeting next wednesday 15 November 18:00 UTC.

We would not want our less experienced players to feel neglected and thus we are starting a new study group labeled "Stop Being a DDK". Most suited for players from total beginners to 15k.

Each week our attendees would have the opportunity to submit a sample game they have played and lost in the previous week. The games would get a written review from a SDK+ player and some would then be picked as an example for a following short lecture/discussion that would be focused on a particular bad habit that is to be thoroughly explained, discussed, yelled at, and overall eliminated in a group discussion, with topics ranging from, but not limited to:

-          Stop ruining your opening

-          Stop helping your opponent

-          Stop leaving weak groups

-          Stop being so envious

-          Stop trying to kill EVERYTHING

-          Stop picking useless fights

-          Stop wasting moves

-          Stop attaching to weak stones

-          And of course any question you might have

After a lecture – given enough time – we would play a sample game with everyone participating in and suggesting moves and ideas, so we could explain in real game what is or isn’t a good direction/idea and (above all) to have some fun.

From now on there will be a new channel on our discord (in study), where you can submit games for our review or ask and talk about anything related.

See you next wednesday :)
