Open Study Room's first lagged live 9x9 tournament.

I'm from the UK and I've been living in Chile since 2004. I've been playing Go since 2015. In real life I play at Club de Go ICO in Santiago, Chile, as well as participating in the Open Study Room.

I'm going to be really good at playing Go.

I joined the Open Study Room in April 2018, and soon after that I became involved with the administrative team. Apart from helping out with the various tasks, I am primarily involved with debugging my own faults in the Discord bot. :joy:

My Go progress has been slow, but I am relatively ok with it. In the beginning I spent most of my time with the OSR Team so didn't progress much. Then I went on to play a bit more, but life is just too demanding at this time. :D

My go training involves:

  • Mostly procrastinating and thinking that ...

  • og1L aka Uwe from Jena/Germany
  • learned to play in 2004 when bots were still weak
  • hit 5k in 2007 but took a longer break soon after
  • started playing again in 2017
  • joined OSR in 2018 and soon became part of the team
  • currently rated 6k EGF
