Good Day Goban Gladiators!

It is now September; thus, we conclude another month of Leagues.

For the month of August, we have the following League statistics:

In the DDK category, with a grand total of 0 games. No one wins!

Our Dan league last month, with a total count of 1 (one) game, had us asking philosophical questions like whether a single game can constitute a league or not. The victory by resignation went to GoDave89, but after consulting a dictionary we reached the conclusion that a league must have more than one game, so no prize in that category this month.

However, these numbers take a dramatic leap up in our OSR League, with a total of 41 participants and 38 games.

Though we did not have enough participation in the Dan or DDK leagues, we did have enough participants to give away 3 fantastic prizes.

Those well-earned rewards are as follows:

Firstly, a man who is no stranger to the leaderboard, having gone undefeated this month with a sum of 10 wins, an OSR Score of 15. GoDave89 takes home the beautiful first place prize of a teaching game with Peter Marko (EGF 4D) and 10€ at Guo Juan's Internet Go School.

Next, our very own curator for the OpenStudyRoom, capturing a total of 68 stones over 12 games! alemitrani with a score of 9 will take home the well earned second place prize of a game review with Justin Teng and 10€ at Guo Juan's Internet Go School.

Then lastly, in third place having collected over 450 points of territory in 7 games. Kamelotusky with a score of 7.5 has also won a 10€ voucher at Guo Juan's Internet Go School.

To review any of the games in August, you can find them all stored nicely in our Archives.

Congratulations to all winners and thanks to everyone for this great month.

Special thanks to all OSR teachers, partners, friends, supporters and patrons for providing us with great prizes every month!
