I hope you all had a good start into the new year and I can see that you are already eagerly playing games for the new league. However - due to all of us being busy bees over the holidays we have not even announced the winners of the December leagues yet.
So let’s do that now! Since we just had a huge post full of detailed league statistics we will keep it short and simple today.
Congratulations to our December league winners
The winner of the December DDK league is opuss, who played 17 games and could win 10 of them. He wins a teaching game with our newest teacher Jean-François Gagnier aka BoneSaw (CGA 4d). Runner up is Wiccan_Wolf who wins a 10€ voucher for Guo Juan’s Internet Go School. Well done and keep playing!
The December Dan league was won by zero00, who won the only league game that month. His prize is a teaching game with Norman Tsai (AGA 6d). Well done - just wish you Dans would fight a bit harder for those prizes!
Luckily the OSR league did see quite a bit more activity in December with almost 50 played games. And once more we have had two people achieving the same number of points: opuss and GoDave89. Since opuss has the higher number of games he is also the winner of Decembers OSR league and wins a game review by Justin Teng (AGA 6d). GoDave89 is the runner up and wins a 10€ voucher for Guo Juan’s Internet Go School. Congratulations to the both of you!
All winners will soon receive emails with details on how to claim their prizes.
Thank you for your support
As always we want to thank all of you for being active members of the Open Study Room. Without you there would be no games, no leagues, no learning and no community!
We also want to thank our teachers and partners and those of you who support us financially via donations or by being a patron. Thank you and have a fantastic January!
